The Pink Hibiscus Mealybug, Maconellicoccus hirsutus (Green), has been found in new locations in the western hemisphere. The updated list of infested countries in the western hemisphere: Anguilla, Aruba (Neth.), Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Curaco (Neth.), Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, St. Eustatius, Saint Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Martin, St. Vincent & Grenadine, Trinidad & Tobago, U. S. (Imperial County, California), and the U. S. Virgin Islands.
